Truly,
these days are akin to the days of Christ’s first advent
regarding the established church (Judaism – the Antichrist) and
the orgasmic love affair with their god (imperialistic Rome –
the Beast). The Deitrick Bonhoffers of the world, like Christ, Paul
and Peter all died from the betrayal at the hands of their fellow
Judiast countrymen.
The
established church claimed these men were trouble makers, drunks and
sons of Beelzebub. “How come” is the prudently begged
query. The men of God and Man of God were not religionists but
theo-centric social reformers who refused to release their grip on
the political dials of the culture. They understood politics are
radically and wholly religious or expressions of morals – what
is good and bad. They also knew laws are simply legislation of that
morality. To disobey the morality meant conflict with the
legislation's’s author. Paul dissented the Roman
legislature and Bonhoffer dissented Nazism. When the Church ought
to be alarmed by the radical loss of rights by a politic, it
responds with pulpit invitations, hanging portraits, oval prayer
breakfasts and gleeful support. It sneers at the few in its camp
they refer to as “trouble makers” and guards their flocks
against th[eir] devilish “anti patriotic” teaching and
warnings.
Turning
dials toward God’s order (Laws) has a cost that most refuse to
pay. Freedom has a price which hardly any are willing to consider,
let alone act upon. God’s Laws always produce freedom by the
very nature of the Absolutes. God given freedom is a tool and only a
tool to be employed by those having a grip on the political dials for
the transformation of a godly society . . . and that means every
person naming Christ as their Lord. Freedom allows Christians to
advance Christ’s Kingdom by His Gospel and Laws simultaneously.
The result is Peace given by the Prince of it. Anything else is
godless and conspiratorial in the most radical form of the term
(humanistic – enslavement). Freedom’s price has always
been war for the political dials.
Presently,
instead of turning the dials of the culture to God and freedom, the
church appears to be holding the hand of the enslavement politic who
dials idolatry.
Who will
take hold and turn the dials for God? Who will lead? Who is
suitable?
When God
gives His dial turners, they aren’t popular and are often
peculiar, however, most effective in God’s economy. The
speaking engagements are usually few, mostly spontaneous and very
offensive due to passion and veracity demanding such in the delivery.
Their rewards are “Christian” scorn, governmental
reprisal, social isolation and deaths, really unnoticed.
Will you
dial? If so, consider a letter to your representative regarding his
vote for your protected rights.
